• Think you have what it takes to become a part of the group? There are many considerations that must be addressed by you and family members if need be. Being in an investigation group has its responsibilities and you must participate as a member if you wish to be considered one. All of the topics below will be addressed when interviewed for a possible position. There will be paperwork to be completed before joining. This does not mean that anybody who wishes to be in the group will get accepted, for this is a professional group that has its set of rules. Rules are put in place for a reason.

• First off, this is a paranormal investigating group for observations of ghosts, spirits, demons, etc.

 

• Although we do encourage our members to have fun, we also ask to do so responsibly. You are responsible for your own actions! We are all adults here, we are not here to babysit anybody.

• We remain professional during the entire investigation. We will not tolerate anybody who is acting childish, or being rude in any way to the members, clients, and/or paranormal beings. This is a open minded group, so we will respect everybody's views, or spiritual beliefs. Be kind to people, paranormal beings, and animals. If you are being disrespectful in any way, you will be removed from the group completely.

• Any member who does not follow these guidelines will not be a part of the group anymore.

• You must keep in mind that investigations are time consuming, for example Lucas Paranormal Investigators do a daytime and night time walk through. The investigations usually begin around 12 PM and can end around 4 AM. Also, following investigations, it takes just as much time if not more to go through video, audio, and still camera shots. This is the most time consuming part of the investigation and we ask for all members to participate in the reviewing of material. We must keep in mind that if this is a case involving a client, we have to ensure to get the results of the reviewed material back to the client in a timely manner (ASAP). This is why we ask for individual participation of the material you collected. All material will be reviewed by the lead investigators. All material is considered property of Lucas Paranormal Investigators even if you recorded it on your own device, as well as all material and client information is confidential.

• Investigations can be costly, which means you must participate in costs, such as: Food, gas, hotel stay, etc.  

• Non-members are not allowed on investigations unless given written approval by the lead investigators.

• We ask that there will be no smoking in the places of investigations. Prior to all investigations we will map out a resting/break location. Here you can purchase a drink, smoke, or take a bathroom break. We will plan accordingly to take a few breaks throughout the night.

• Water will be provided during the investigations.

​

• Investigating the paranormal is not for a person who is fearful of spirits, demons, etc. Once you are there, you may not be able to leave until the investigation is complete. If you feel this will cause issues, this is not for you.

​

• Some investigations are done outside, which means we might have to walk through tall grass and go through places that may have hazardous conditions. You must be dressed appropriately for an investigation. A detailed list of apparel will be discussed during the interview. Keep in mind, we may be standing on our feet for many hours. A typical investigation usually has members on their feet for most of the night. It also can be either really hot, or really cold depending on what the weather is like. We will not be doing outside investigations during bad weather, we will continue to do them if they are inside. Please keep in mind what you wear on the investigations so that you are comfortable during the entire investigation. All members must be wearing Lucas Paranormal Investigators apparel during investigations at all times. There will be a first aid kit provided and available at all investigations, as well as the lead investigators are certified First Aid & CPR holders. You may request to verify proof of the certifications upon request.
